We have been working for the past week to get water in the house. After we ran the 600 feet of water house and wire and plumbed up the holding tank we discovered after all that the submersible pump didn't work. It was so disappointing. So close to running water than nothing~! I just priced a new water pump and they run over $400 . I guess we will be trying to find a used one this week from a few well drillers this week. If not we will have to put the water on hold for another 3 weeks. It really was depressing. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can find a used one for half the price.
