Hoover Giveaway At Mom Spotted

Mom Spotted is having a fantastic review and giveaway right now for a Hoover MaxExtract Carpet Cleaner~! How cool is that or should I say how clean is that lol . My floors need Hoover soooooo bad. I was so excited when I saw this review and giveaway. This Hoover MaxExtract Carpet Cleaner is the bomb. I have two small grandchildren that play on my floors and I cringe to think what is hiding in the fibers of my rugs. I really hate it. Resolve and a sponge mop just doesn't get the deep down dirt out no matter how clean the surface looks. I love that the Hoover sucks up the dirt and doesn't just push it around. Hop on over to Mom Spotted and check it out and while your there enter to win one like I did.

You never know where your going to end up when you go geocaching. We spent a week in the Downeast area in Maine this is just a few things we saw while vacationing. this is a huge Whale head skull.

We also ended up at a bird sanctuary and walked the trails and this is a picture of my son at the "Queen's Thrown"

I just wish I had taking my good camera. Instead I ended up using my cell phone to take pics with. We also found a geocach at this nice picnic area. It had a great view and over 20 brand new picnic tables to enjoy lunch at.

Then today he stood their saying those same words to me lol. I told him remember Mom's are ALWAYS right :)

Dear Crissy is having an AWESOME Giveaway~!

As some of you that follow my blog know we have been building a new house for the last 6yrs paycheck by paycheck with a deadline to move in by the end of this summer. We are getting real close but of course we still have lots to do and one of them is to pick out the flooring for the entire house. I can't wait because I am so sick of looking at those plywood floors and once we get the new flooring in it will make the house look sooooooooo much better~! As my mother always says until the flooring is in and the curtains hung a house never looks finished and I agree. We now have the new bathroom vanity in and working. Yeah~! The master bedroom is the only room that is finished with flooring (which we put in a hunter green and tan variegated carpet) and curtains. That still leaves 4 more rooms to buy flooring for. I couldn't believe the massive selections at FloorMall to choose from and I was so excited when I received an email from Dear Crissy about the chance to win $1200 of hardwood flooring. I entered FloorMall’s Step Into Summer Flooring Sweepstakes and hope to win $1,200 in beautiful hardwood flooring.

Sweeps4Bloggers is having a Giveaway for Glass Dharma Straws $25 GC ends 6/4

I try to live green but today I discovered I'm doing something that isn't so green after all. Something I never thought much about until today after reading a great review at Sweeps4Bloggers about Glass Dharma straws. I always use a PLASTIC straw to drink with. I never thought about it being plastic and how many I go through in a week. I really hate plastic so why do I drink through a plastic straw? Heck if I know but now that I am aware of it I'd rather not use them anymore. The Glass Dharma Straws are the answer to my problem. I can practice being green and enjoy using a straw still. I won't even drink out of a plastic glass so it doesn't even make any sense why I would be drinking through a plastic straw. Glass Dharma has several size straws to choose from and even a decorated style like the one in this picture. To learn more and enter to win a $25 GC to Glass Dharma stop over to Sweeps4Bloggers. Just click any hyperlink or here.

GE® 13.7 CU. FT. Frost-Free Upright Freezer from Nestle Going on Right Now ~! Want to know where?

We just love Nestle Ice Cream~! We don't eat a lot of ice cream in the winter because it is soooo cold here in Maine but when summer comes we make up for lost time when it comes to ice cream. We can't get enough of it. We use every excuse to have Nestle Ice Cream. If we have a BBQ which is often in the summer months because again it is to cold to grill outside in the winter we always have Ice Cream for a treat. For every holiday and family get together we have to have ice cream. The snack size variety pack is perfect for the smaller children during our family outings. It's easier for them to handle and just the right size for small bellies lol. I was excited when I saw several blogs I follow sharing a Nestle review and giveaway for a GE® 13.7 CU. FT. Frost-Free Upright Freezer from Nestle. How cool is that~! (pun intended) lol If you would like to check out the reviews and enter for your chance to win just click on the links below. CONGRATULATIONS~!

I'm so excited~! It looks like we just might make our deadline date of August 31st to move into the new house *YES* . It's been six long years building our new home and it is so hard to believe that we are only a little over three months from moving in. The Master bedroom is now complete and we are currently working on the Master bathroom. I will tell you doing the tile work around our antique tub was no fun at all but it sure is looking nice. I looked at a lot of Bathroom Vanities. Now I have to choose a Bathroom Vanity that will look good with our old fashion tub. See some of the beautiful Bathroom Vanities that I found at CSN's 200+ stores.
This is the first one that I found that I thought would look good with the antique tub. The Empire Industries Vienna in nice white.
I like the cupboard space but I also would like a mirror above the sink. So I decided to look a little more to see if I could find one with a nice mirror for above the sink.

2.) This is another Bathroom vanity that I found that I thought was really attractive. The Danze Orrington in Antique Cherry. I just love the oval mirror and I really wanted a mirror above the Vanity but Of course then I loose the extra cupboard space. I was thinking maybe If I put a separate armoire in the bathroom I would have more than enough space for towels and bathroom supplies. This would keep the antique theme too. So off I went to CSN's Stores to see what I could find. I found exactly what I was looking for. A small armoire with an antique look that wouldn't put me in the poor house. I was surprised when I found one that matched the Bathroom Vanity and at half the price I expected~! It is a Storkcraft Aspen Armoire in Cherry. The options at CSN Stores are endless.

I found 3 wonderful items that would make my bathroom experience tranquil. The bathroom is my favorite room of the house because it is the only room that I can spend some alone time. It's my stress reliever. I like to run a nice hot bubble bath and light a few aroma candles and sit in the steamy room and thumb through my favorite magazine while the kids are sleeping and the house is quiet.
How would you like to enter to win a $40 Gift Certificate from CSN Stores? That's right CSN Stores have offered to give one of my readers a chance to win just that. Thank You CSN~!

At One Savvy Mom Enter o Win A Young Picasso Canvas Kit

My kids all love to paint and do crafts and I just read a review and entered a giveaway at "One Savvy Mom" for a Young Picasso Canvas Kit. Our family comes from a long line of artist. My brother can draw a picture and it looks real when he is done. A favorite of mine that he did was of a rose with dew dripping from it's petals. He did this with color pencils and you thought you could smell the rose it looked so real. His two daughters also inherited his artistic ability and one has graduated from college of arts. I myself am not so artistic but can paint some. My children have yet to show this ability but they love to draw and paint. During the summer I like to pick up craft and paint projects and put them away for the cold winter months here. They get bored stuck inside when it is -40 below and that's when I usually pull out a project to do so when I saw this review for the Young Picasso Canvas Kit at "One Savvy Mom" I just had to enter. You can to. Just click here.
